March 13, 2013 - The Korea Society welcomes Yonsei University President Jeong Kap-young for a luncheon discussion on Building a Creative Korean Economy: The Role of Higher Education on March 13th at noon. A specialist in industrial organization, public policy and economics, President Jeong propelled Yonsei to the top of the Joongang rankings in 2012. A professor of economics and former dean and director at Yonsei, President Jeong is the recipient of numerous awards, including the Dasan Economics Award and Market Economy Award for Excellence in Publication. He has served on the Presidential Commission for Government Administrative Reform and key advisory commissions in Korea, and  holds a Masters and Doctorate in Economics from Cornell University.
